About the Role
We are seeking a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) to oversee the financial management and operations of a mall and hotel at Triveni Mall, Serampore. This role requires a seasoned finance and operations professional who can lead teams, manage vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive profitability across both verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial management and budgeting for mall and hotel operations to ensure maximum profitability.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with corporate goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of customer-centric service and operational excellence.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality services and cost-effective solutions.
- Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to adhere to all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Analyze market trends and operational performance metrics to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive occupancy and footfall, ensuring effective promotional strategies are in place.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all financial inquiries related to mall and hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com Hons. from a recognized institution.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) — mandatory.
- Minimum 10+ years of post-qualification experience in finance and operations, preferably in mall, hotel, or real estate management.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing financial operations for retail malls, hospitality, or mixed-use commercial properties.
- Exposure to vendor contract negotiations, procurement processes, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Knowledge of GST, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements in India.
- MBA in Finance or related specialization would be an added advantage.
